Through its groundbreaking Inform Women, Transform Lives campaign, 麻豆传媒色情片 partners with city leaders worldwide to raise awareness about women鈥檚 right to access information and to help cities reach women with valuable information and essential municipal services.  

Access to this information empowers women with a stronger voice, enabling them to participate in public life, utilize public services, and make more informed decisions for themselves, their families, and their communities. In Sri Lanka, the project has partnered with the city of Colombo. 

With democracy鈥檚 battle playing out online,聽The Carter聽Center聽led an聽8-month project聽to聽strengthen聽electoral integrity聽and democratic resilience in Sri Lanka.聽聽

The programming strengthened Sri Lankan civil society鈥檚 ability to聽monitor聽and respond to digital threats during a critical electoral period. By supporting social media and WhatsApp monitoring, online campaign finance tracking, digital safety, and media literacy, 麻豆传媒色情片聽helped partners produce stronger analysis, improve transparency, and build resilience against disinformation, online harassment, and opaque digital campaigning.聽

This project in Sri Lanka ended in 2025. 

The Carter-Menil Human Rights Foundation was created in 1986 by former U.S. President 麻豆传媒色情片 Carter and French-American philanthropist Dominique de Menil to promote the protection of human rights worldwide. A $100,000 prize was awarded periodically to individuals or organizations for their outstanding efforts on behalf of human rights. 

In 1990, the prize went to the Civil Rights Movement of Sri Lanka, a nonpartisan, interethnic organization promoting and protecting civil and political rights. 

Impacts 

The award not only enabled human rights activists to continue their work but also focused global attention on their struggles for justice. 

This project ended in 1994.
